Simple terms. No surprises.

By creating an account on Bite by AekBharat — whether as a customer or a restaurant partner — you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users, including customers, restaurant owners, managers, and staff members operating under a restaurant partner account.

As a customer using Bite to browse restaurants and place food orders, you agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery address and contact information with each order
• Be present or available at the delivery address at the time of delivery
• Pay the full amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and delivery fees
• Not place fraudulent, duplicate, or test orders on the live platform
• Raise any order dispute within 24 hours of delivery through the Bite app
• Not misuse promotional offers, referral codes, or discount coupons

Bite acts as a technology platform connecting you with restaurant partners. We are not the seller of food — the restaurant is. Bite is not liable for the quality, safety, or packaging of food prepared by restaurant partners.

As a restaurant partner listing your business on Bite, you agree to:

• Provide accurate restaurant information, including name, address, GSTIN, and FSSAI licence number
• Keep your menu, pricing, and item availability up to date at all times
• Accept and fulfil orders placed by customers in a timely manner
• Maintain required food safety and hygiene standards as per FSSAI regulations
• Not list items that are prohibited, unsafe, or misrepresented in any way
• Pay the agreed platform fee as per your selected plan on time
• Not attempt to circumvent the platform by directing Bite customers to order outside the app

AekBharat reserves the right to suspend or remove a restaurant listing if these standards are consistently violated, with prior notice wherever possible.

Customers: Your order history, saved addresses, and account data belong to you. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.

Restaurant Partners: Your menu data, order records, invoices, and financial reports belong to you. AekBharat does not claim ownership of your business data. You can export everything at any time from your dashboard, and we will purge your data within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by GST or FSSAI law.

AekBharat Technologies provides the Bite platform on an "as is" basis. We target 99.5% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

AekBharat is not liable for: the quality or safety of food prepared by restaurant partners; delays caused by traffic, weather, or delivery partner unavailability; or losses arising from a customer's incorrect delivery address.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, AekBharat's total liability shall not exceed the value of the specific order or transaction in dispute.
